Suggestive Selling

Here's an example of suggestive selling worked into a full page comic strip.  This may pre-date Cap's Hobby Hints, but not by much.   What a great way to promote your sponsor/advertiser's products than to plant the idea in young reader's heads to prime the parents to buy a hobby kit for them!
